Breakfast & Dinner Options:
Breakfast is included in your tariff and is served in the dining room between 7.30am and 9.00am daily.
Under COVID 19 we have introduced set times for breakfast with guests being allocated either a 7.30am or an 8.15am sitting. This just promotes correct social distancing for all guests and especially over breakfast. We have also moved away from open platters to a more rigid menu where guests are asked to order from a constantly changing menu.
We endeavor to make breakfast special with something different most mornings. In Summer breakfast is more off a continental selection while Winter is similar but extends to include a number of traditional hot dishes.
Summer breakfast usually starts with a daily spread of seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt and home made muesli with linseed, coconut, and almond. We also offer a Bircher muesli made with apple juice for those that may be lactose intolerant. A glass of freshly made fruit juice from our cold press typically consisting of apple, orange, ginger, celery, and other seasonal ingredients. We make our own wholemeal bread loaf which you slice (while still warm) and can maybe add some fresh butter, double smoked ham off the bone, Danish salami or French prosciutto. We also offer organic hard boiled eggs, cucumber, avocado, tomato and Kerri's infamous relish. For those that may require lactose or gluten free produce, we endeavor to provide Soy or Almond milk, and gluten free bread.
In Winter we start the same with fresh pressed fruit juice, seasonal fresh fruits, berries and yogurt, home made bread, but in addition we offer breakfast wraps which involves a soft tortilla wrap with egg, bacon, cheese, spinach and our home made tomato relish.
Nescafe pod coffee, hot milo or a choice of numerous teas including Green, Peppermint, Lemon grass or Russian Caravan.
Throughout the day you are invited to help yourself to the coffee and aromatic teas as well as the biscuits that are located in the buffet area of the dining room
In the evening if you don’t feel like venturing out to one of the great local restaurants we can offer you a selection of locally made gourmet “ready to heat” meals to enjoy in our lounge/dining area. Each of these dishes has been created by qualified chefs to be microwaved and offer a generous two person serving. Just advise us in the morning of your selection and we’ll have it available for you that evening.
