Thredbo Village is nestled in the amazing Kosciuszko National Park, with activities, events, shopping and restaurants to complete any holiday. The atmosphere is truly unique and the pace is entirely up to you. Soak up the surrounds on a romantic getaway, feel the rush as you hammer the hill, or have some holiday fun with the whole family. Whatever the season, whatever your passion, take the adventure and experience Thredbo.
As a ski resort in winter Thredbo is recognised as the premier ski area in Australia. Thredbo’s elevation and location make it perfect for plenty of natural snow. Nevertheless, Thredbo also offers Australia’s most extensive snow making facilities and top to bottom skiing is almost guaranteed.
By the height of summer backpacks and walking boots are the norm, with Thredbo and the Main Range bustling with explorers and bursting with colour. Along comes Autumn, the landscape takes on a whole new hue and then, with a crisp bite in the air we are ready for winter all over again. It is truly a resort for all seasons!
Thredbo is a small village but well equipped with city services including ATM’s, a medical Centre, post office, service station, supermarket, news agency, pharmacy, physiotherapist, masseurs, video hire, photographers, internet services and of course fashion boutiques.
The great part about the mountains is you set your own pace, you can stay as busy as you like with stacks of activities on offer, or just kick back, go for quiet walks and enjoy the views.
Here at PURE we hope you will have the best possible stay in our chalet and also take home with you a fantastic and memorable experience of Thredbo Village and the surrounding Snowy Mountains. Play a round of golf on Australia’s highest course. The nine hole, AGU rated course is bordered by the Thredbo River and has unique and challenging features such as the snake pit and Wally Wombat’s House.

Mountain Biking. Australia's longest downhill mountain bike trail is now at Thredbo a mountain biking mecca since the 1990’s. A two track extension opened in Thredbo in April 2017 has become part of a spectacular 35-kilometre route from the village to the valley. The 900-metre descent covers diverse terrain from spectacular alpine areas scattered with rock boulders, to luscious greenery and water features.
